The website www.hilatech.co is published by HILATECH SARL, an ERP and digital transformation consulting firm, Rue Gallieni, Akwa – Douala (Cameroon). HILATECH SARL is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. Legal framework
We process your data in accordance with Cameroon Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data and, where you reside in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679).
3. Data we collect
- Contact form: name, company, email, phone, type of need and message. The form does not store anything on our servers: it prepares an email or WhatsApp message that you choose to send. We only receive this data if you confirm sending it.
- Direct exchanges: information you share with us by email, WhatsApp, phone or during a meeting.
- Booking: if you book a slot via Calendly, the information you enter (name, email, answers) is collected by Calendly and then shared with us.
- Browsing: the website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Only your display preference (light or dark mode) is kept in your browser (local storage); it is never sent to us.
4. How we use your data
- To answer your requests and questions;
- To prepare a quote or business proposal;
- To organise and follow up on meetings and projects;
- To send you, as a professional, information about our services (you may object at any time);
- To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
We make no automated decisions with legal effects concerning you, and we never sell your data.
5. Legal bases
Depending on the case: your consent (voluntarily sending a request), the performance of pre-contractual measures or a contract (quote, project), our legitimate interest in developing our business with professionals, and compliance with our legal obligations.
6. Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to authorised Hilatech staff. It may pass through the following technical services used to run the website and our communications:
- our email service;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) if you contact us through it;
- Calendly for appointment booking;
- Google Fonts (Google), which receives your browser’s IP address when the website’s fonts are displayed;
- the website host.
7. Transfers outside Cameroon
Some of these providers (WhatsApp, Calendly, Google) may process data outside Cameroon, notably in the United States or the European Union. These transfers rely on the contractual safeguards offered by these providers. To avoid these tools, you can contact us directly by email or phone.
8. Retention periods
- Prospects: 3 years from our last exchange;
- Clients: for the duration of the contractual relationship, then for the periods required by law (accounting records: 10 years);
- Display preference: until you clear your browser data.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data (in particular for marketing), and where applicable the right to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise them, write to contact@hilatech.co stating your request. We reply within one month. Proof of identity may be requested if there is doubt.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent personal data protection authority in Cameroon or, if you reside in the European Union, with your national authority (in France: the CNIL).
10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (restricted access, secured accounts, encrypted connections). As no system is completely infallible, we will inform you promptly of any incident affecting you.
11. Minors
This website is intended for professionals. It is not designed to collect data about minors.
12. Changes
This policy may change, for example if we add an analytics tool. The update date appears at the top of the page; significant changes will be announced on the website.
